4 YEAR PROGRAM WILL BEGIN IN MAY 2028:
With two 4 week segments per year:
– One in May-June
– One in September-October
– Each year through 2031
The program follows international guidelines and is accredited by the Australian Training and Accreditation Board and approved by the Feldenkrais Guild of Australia.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be eligible for certification and membership in the Feldenkrais Guild® of Australia, and other Feldenkrais Guilds worldwide.
● After completing the first two years of the program you will be eligible to receive authorization to teach Awareness Through Movement® lessons, as long as you are enrolled in the program….
● Upon successful graduation from the full course you will be eligible to become certified to teach individual Functional Integration® lessons.
INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION*
The Feldenkrais® Professional Training in TAIWAN follows accreditation policies set up through the Australian Training Accreditation Board (AUSTAB)*, the North American Training Accreditation Board (NATAB) and the European Training Accreditation Board (EUROTAB).
Policies dictate the number of hours of training (800 hours over 4 years), student teacher ratios, who can teach (accredited Trainers and Assistant Trainers), content, evaluation procedures and graduation requirements. Graduates from professional trainings are able to practice in all countries recognizing these professional standards.

*In certain states or countries, professional practice may be subject to laws limiting their professional practice unless the graduate has (a) certain license(s). Neither Awareness Through Movement® nor Functional Integration® may be practiced professionally before graduation from an accredited training program. Interim authorization as a Trainee Awareness Through Movement teacher is a student teaching position.
PROGRAM DATES
The training will meet Monday and Thursday from 9:30 to 4:30, Tuesday and Wednesday from
11:30 to 6:30 and Friday from 11:30 to 3:30 for twenty-six hours of instruction per week.
Monday through Thursday there will a 1.5 hour break mid-day.
We expect to be able to adhere to this schedule, but there may be changes due to the availability of facilities. Whenever possible, trainees will be notified 30 days in advance.
Training programs are subject to cancellation with 30 days advance notice due to insufficient enrollment, teacher availability, and/or location availability.

APPLICATION FEE:
There is a non-refundable application fee of $100.00USD, which will be applied towards your tuition upon acceptance.
DEPOSIT:
There is a $500.00 USD deposit upon acceptance to hold your place in the training.
TUITION FEES:
The tuition fee is $7,500.00 USD per year. Paid in 2 installments per year or on a mutually agreed payment plan.

REFUND POLICY
The Feldenkrais in Taipei Feldenkrais Professional Training Program shall refund to any student, all tuition payments for any full-day training sessions of the program which the student has not yet attended (at $187.50 per day) whether they leave on their own or are asked to leave by the Educational Director.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Application fee, deposit and later payments can be made through Cash or ATM transfer.
Once we receive your application we will let you know how to make the ATM transfer for the application fee and future payments.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of school closure or if the training is cancelled by the decision of Feldenkrais Somatic Co. in Taipei you will receive a pro-rated refund of $187.50 per day.

The Venue
We have found a beautiful space in the Shilin District in Taipei City. A 5 minute walk from the Zhishan Station, on the MRT Red Line. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
Housing
Since Taipei is the destination for so many there are plenty of different housing options available. While we will not provide housing we will do all we can to help you find something appropriate for you and your needs.
